Web Conferencing Experts Say: It's A Buyer's Market!

Some quite interesting trends emerge from the report I created with the questions and answers collected at yesterday's live event "State of the E-conferencing Industry:
Today's Issues and Tomorrow's Solution
" organized and presented/moderated by Stephanie Downs of ConferZone.

If we don't leverage more audience participation and parallel channels (like Alex Williams correctly pointed out) we are really missing some great opportunities here. It is with pleasure that I see some of my Competitive Edge trends being ackowledged and reported by others as well.

But the greatest joy comes when reading one of the expert panelists write:

"It Is A Buyer's Market: With so many options and technology changing so rapidly, very few enterprise customers are willing to buy site licenses and pay a decent price knowing that in 3 months, new improved technology will be available for much less."

Right on, I say, this is an historical message that the large webconferencing players must absolutely wake up to.
