Best Educational Projects Involving Creativity, Learning And Play: The Map of Creativity

Behind an innovative, elegant and for many aspects, effective interface, the Map of Creativity gives you access to an exploratory view of all the best ongoing learning projects available on the Web. "Given the enormous number of innovative projects, many of which are unknown outside a narrow circle of researchers, the NGf (Next Generation Foundation) has developed a tool to make educational innovation visible." The Map of Creativity showcases over 400 projects that support creativity, learning, or play recommended by educators around the world.

The Flash-based interactive map is very minimalist and offers at the center of its display access to the main regions of the world. As you hover your mouse on them you can immediately start exploring individual projects information. What is very effectively implemented is a smooth ability to add further research criteria by simply selecting complementary variable criteria like age groups, themes, submission age and rating.

Non-flash-based list of all creative projects enlisted in the map is accessible here: http://www.ngf.org.uk/map/html/

Recommended.
