Robin Good's Jungle Tours At e/merge 2004

If you operate in the academic/educational universe and are interested in participating in an online demo showing some of the more interesting real-time communication and collaboration technologies available today on the market, you may want to check out my two Jungle Tours I will be running this week at e/merge 2004. Yes, Tuesday the 6th and Wednesday July 7th, at 4pm (GMT +2), I will be conducting two online live demonstrations in which I will be showcasing some cost-effective grassroots solutions for real-time conferencing in the academic world. Participation is open to everyone and unless you are registered participant to the South African conference hosting these tours, you will need to sign-up for your participation at Kolabora.com. e/merge 2004 - Blended Collaborative Learning in Southern Africa is the first virtual conference on educational technology in the SADC region. e/merge 2004 will take place online until July 10th 2004 and will include associated face to face events in a number of cities. This conference focusses on collaborative learning involving a blend of online and face to face interactions in our regional context of unequal access to technology.

The conference is designed to share good practice and knowledge about educational technology innovation within the tertiary and secondary education sectors in the region, as well as to strengthen communities of researchers and practitioners.
