The Interactive Body: BBC Learning Lab

Winner of one of the 2004 Webby Awards in the education category, the Interactive Body interactive study-guide is a very good example of an effective educational resource utilizing interactive games and animation. Each scenario allows the user to effectively explore new concepts while having to match, simulate or try-out directly some the actual characteristic of each organ (position, size, function, etc.). The approach gives space to the learners to explore and learn through their preferred routes and at their own pace. A wonderful way to prepare for Science class when the official school book is not around. Engaging.
