Capturing and Optimizing Screenshots for Print

Taking screen shots of a computer application, Web site or software application is not as easy as it may appear, especially if you need those screenshots to be used in high quality inside professional print publications. This one-page tutorial provides some useful guidance, both to PC and Mac designers on how to best approach this delicate process. Getting the screen images to look professional once placed inside your InDesign, Quark Xpress or other selected layout program is definitely trickier than you may have thought. Conversion of screenshots to vector format is also covered in detail and happily with the use of some professionally prepared sample screen images.
