Better Than Glance: Easy Screen Sharing And Remote Control With GoToMeeting

It looks beautifully easy! better than glance.net, Try it out!. This is what my friend and colleague Gillian Kerr wrote me about GoToMeeting the other day. Nonetheless I am a long time GoToMyPC customer and proud supporter, I had not received any internal news announcing this new exciting service from my friends in Santa Barbara. But to my surprise the new GoToMeeting is indeed available for everyone to go and try out immediately. GoToMeeting is an extremely easy-to-use live presentation tool that allows anyone to share her screen with ten or more simultaneous viewers. The user interface and usability of the product are top notch and the performance is also very good, given at least a performing 56K line on all ends. The online free trial allows for up to ten simultaneous users and requires only a very simple and straightforward registration. The documentation is one page long, due to extreme ease of use and very limited amount of controls one has to worry about. GoToMeeting is much like Glance but with added chat, remote control and a more spiffy, user-friendly interface. Price is also excellent, with a flat, take-as-much-as-you-want rate costing just $49/month for up to ten users. Kudos to Citrix, who has taken over the great team at ExpertCity and has started rolling out some great conferencing and collaboration technologies. I am sure you will be soon hearing more about them.
