Amazon Enters The Search Business: A9 Launched

Amazon has just launched its new major search engine online today. Called A9, the Amazon search engine uses Google' search results while adding some unique extra features: a) Book results, b) Search history, c) a nifty search Toolbar. The first two are two optional vertical panes that can be opened on the right side of the Amazon A9 search results page. According to John Battelle "Amazon has taken the best of Google, and made it, to my mind, a lot better." He has a great story and more news to come on it.
