Canvas X is a graphics and illustrations management program that can import over 80 file formats including Bitmap (BMP). It comes with an Auto Trace command for creating vector objects from an image. Canvas X traces any channel of an image and is available when a paint object is selected (not in edit mode). When Canvas X auto-traces a channel, it leaves the original image unchanged and applies the current stroke to the resulting vector objects.
