Online New Media News Editor - New Technology Reviewer

Role and Responsibilities:
(What the selected candidate will learn during this internship)

  • Formatting of content for online use

  • Bolding and chunking methodologies

  • Linking and referencing policies

  • Usage of online Definition links

  • Image selection, editing and publication

  • Titling strategy

  • Finding related relevant content

  • Categorizing

  • Publishing a newsletter

  • Preparing interviews for publication

  • Writing technical reviews of new media tools, software and online services

  • Writing report and mini-guides on specific topics

  • Newsmastering methodology

  • Screencasting

  • Video capturing and encoding

  • Video editing offline-online

  • Audio and Video publishing

Internship duration / location:
7 to 9 months. Position available both at physical location in Rome, Italy or fully virtual at-a-distance

Time requirements:
6-8 hrs /day - 5-6 days / week

Compensation:
Internship is not remunerated or paid. At the end of the internship period, all interns having completed the internship are offered a collaboration opportunity within the Robin Good's Media Network. Eventual compensation is based on content produced self-sufficiently after initial training in a self-sufficient mode and with no need for significant editing revisions, corrections or changes before final use.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • CSS template design execution and updating

  • XHTML coding and validation

  • Browser compatibility testing

Internship duration / location:
7 to 9 months. Position available both at physical location in Rome, Italy or fully virtual at-a-distance

Time requirements:
6-8 hrs /day - 5-6 days / week. If at-a-distance, must be in time zone GMT 0, GMT +1 or GMT +2

Compensation:
Internship is not remunerated or paid. At the end of the internship period, all interns having completed the internship are offered a collaboration opportunity within the Robin Good's Media Network. Eventual compensation is based on tasks done in a self-sufficient mode and with no need for significant help.
