Thank you Blaster for having given me a great day. It was fantastic to see my one-day traffic on Masternewmedia.org reach its historical record (1,700 plus visitors in one day) due to many people looking for a solution to the infection I didn't actually have.

 

 

Thank you Blaster for having me spared hours of tedious technical work to download patches, install new firewalls and remove trojans I wasn't even aware had entered my PC.
Thank you Blaster for having me realize how great an anti-virus I have got and how bad off are all my "expert" friends and technological gurus who told me to run for life when the Blaster hell broke loose.
Thank you Blaster for having allowed me to demonstrate that I didn't have to have a firewall to be protected against it.

Though this will sound as blasphemy to all those security experts out there, I would have hated to go through installing one and bearing with its learning and configuration requirements (I normally rely on the one integrated in my router, but now that I am traveling and on dial-up I do not have one). Hey I am here
to use this computer not to maintain myself busy while doing maintenance and fixing for it!
Thank you Blaster gain for not having forced me to install another piece of software that serve no other purpose than making my PC do what it should normally be doing without it. I am grateful for this saving of time, and money.
Thank you Blaster for having not taking advantage of my PC in any significant damaging way outside of the psychological distress I went through and the two abundant hours of troubleshooting invested after you. That could have been much worse.
Thank you Blaster for having breached and exposed Microsoft non-existent security framework for the millionth time. Who still believes that this operating system can provide any amount of reliable safety can just look at the number of patches issues by Microsoft in the last 12 months alone.
Thank you Blaster for having broken finally that long standing equilibrium I had reached with Microsoft based tools and operating system. I am full of it now. I do not wish to spend my time financing Microsoft inabilities nor in disinfesting my PC from viruses, trojans and spyware I have never signed up for. I am full of it now.
Thank you Blaster for having allowed me take the ultimate decision without a feeling of doubt or indecision.
What is the value of a computer system to a person when a large percentage of the time invested in using it must be reserved to tasks of maintenance, repair, security protection and maintenance?
What is the value of entering a computing environment that while huge in dimensions and diversity offers no guarantees of security, privacy, or even reliability?
For the sake of having the most popular, the bigger, most powerful and "cheaper" one aren't we sacrificing a little bit too much of our freedom to be supported by smart, easy-to-use secure and reliable tools?
Have we all lost any capacity to reason and to see that this is getting pretty ridiculous?
I am looking for a buyer of my PC.
Mac, Linux my home is your home.
