Selecting appropriate tools for e-learning courses

EduTools
= must have
Online Service
FREE

The EduTools site offers you comprehensive research-based reviews of Course Management Software tools, from Web Conferencing tools to Learning Management Systems (LMS), in tabular form. You can search product reviews for example by specifying desired features or specific requirements of user-groups (e.g. accessibility) and compare different products in a structured way. EduTools offers you also a decision model/ process to assist you in identifying the tool that suits your own training course best.

Unfortunately the proposed decision process is somewhat inflexible and therefore very time-consuming. Besides, some information in the product reviews, e.g. pricing, could be more detailed.

Nevertheless, EduTools is a great resource to refer to if you want to get informed about Course Management tools or if you need to select a certain product for your own course. The website is well organized and easy to use. Access to (single and comparative) product reviews is very flexible and addresses individual user needs.
